2 years agoToronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk is taking a seat on the bench to start Saturday's contest against Easton McGee and the Seattle Mariners. The 24-year-old is running a .263/.419/.386 slash line with two homers, seven runs, and 10 RBI across 20 games. Danny Jansen will replace Alejandro behind the plate and bat seventh. The former prospect has shown promise in his bat in the past but is struggling thus far through 16 games in 2023. Jansen's hitting .188 with three long balls, five runs, and 12 RBI. Fantasy managers looking for some pop from their catcher can think about streaming the 28-year-old and hope he starts to come around.--Spencer Seguin
