Toronto Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk will serve as the designated hitter for Thursday's contest versus the Yankees and left-hander Jordan Montgomery, the first time in his big league career that he’ll start from somewhere other than behind the dish. Kirk, the club’s No. 6 prospect per MLB Pipeline, has impressed in his early showings, mashing the ball at a .412/.444/.647 slash line. Should he continue to impress, the club may be inclined to utilize him during the postseason, which would give DFS managers a high upside bat at a price tag that has not yet caught up to his brief stretch of production.--Jesse Borek
