Alec Pierce Off The Radar In Week 5
1 year agoIndianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce has slowly been ramping up his usage in this Colts passing offense, most recently in Week 4, where he reeled in one of his two targets for a 38-yard gain. Pierce has remained as the WR3 in terms of targets (14) and yards (114) in this Colts passing offense, falling behind receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and rookie Josh Downs. The Colts passing offense under rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson ranks 15th in the league in yards per game, which hasn't been enough to support three separate fantasy wide receivers. Pierce should see a slight uptick in volume against the Tennessee Titans' bottom-10 passing defense in Week 5, but not enough to be started in fantasy lineups.
