Alec Mills Picks Up Sixth Victory
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Alec Mills improved to 6-6 with Saturday's victory versus the Chicago White Sox. Mills went 8 1/3 innings and allowed four hits, zero runs, two walks and struck out three on the evening. Saturday's performance was his best start of the season and he gave the Cubs bullpen a much needed rest. With his impressive outing, Mills lowered his ERA to 4.32. Despite the nice outing, Mills hasn't done much to warrant the attention of fantasy managers. Next up for Mills will be a favorable matchup versus the Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday.
