Alec Mills Has Shortened Outing On Tuesday
3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Alec Mills went 2 1/3 innings in Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Milwaukee Brewers. Mills had his start cut short with a long rain delay and finished with one hit, zero runs, zero walks and struck out three on the evening. Mills has been pitching well for the Cubs and has a 3.38 ERA over his last seven starts with 27 strikeouts in 34 2/3 innings. Mills is worth a look in deeper mixed leagues and will face Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday.
