Alec Burks Shows Well In Friday's Road Start
6 years agoCleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Alec Burks was in the starting five Friday night in Miami with Rodney Hood sitting due to his left Achilles' tendon injury. Burks took advantage of the situation, posting 17 points with six rebounds, five assists and just two turnovers over 30 minutes in the 118-94 loss. Burks hit 6-for-10 from the field, made his only three-pointer try and hit all four of his free-throw attempts, leading all starters in points. In fact, he was just one of two players in the starting five to go for double digits in points, and one of just four Cavs in another disappointing game. If he starts again in Atlanta on Saturday he could be a nice mid-tier DFS value.
