Alec Bohm Looking To Continue Success Versus Braxton Garrett Wednesday
1 year agoPhiladelphia Phillies corner infielder Alec Bohm will look to continue his success against Miami Marlins left-hander Braxton Garrett when the two meet for Wednesday's Game 2 in Philadelphia. It's not a huge sample, but Bohm is 5-for-9 (.556) with a homer and a walk against Garrett while striking out in just one of his 10 plate appearances against him. Bohm enjoys much of his success against lefties in general, hitting .303 with a hefty .929 OPS against southpaws this season. He hit 12 of his 20 home runs off of lefties this season despite seeing 277 more plate appearances against right-handed pitching. The 27-year-old's bat could go a long way in sending the Marlins packing in this NL Wild Card series.
