Aldrick Rosas Arrested in California on Monday
4 years agoNew York Giants kicker Aldrick Rosas was arrested on Monday morning following a hit-and-run incident in Chico, California. This was confirmed to NFL.com by the California Highway Patrol. According to the report, Rosas was driving at around 100 mph when he collided with another vehicle at an intersection and then attempted to flee the scene. He was located by a CHP officer soon after and arrested on charges of misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving on a suspended license. Alcohol is "believed to [have been] a factor" in the incident as well. The Giants released a statement, saying, "We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Aldrick. We have no further comment at this time." Rosas has kicked for the Giants for the past three seasons, but may face league discipline besides legal discipline before the season begins.
