Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols is out of the starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Indians. Pujols has been heating up at the plate over his last 10 games, hitting .293/.356/.585 with three home runs and nine RBI in that span. Jared Walsh will get the start at first in his place and bat seventh in the lineup.--Michael

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols is serving as the designated hitter and is batting second in Game 1 of the National League Wild-Card Series on Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies and right-hander Zack Wheeler. Pujols has had a resurgent season with the Cardinals in what is expected to be his final major-league season. The 42-year-old future Hall of Famer reached the 700-homer mark late in the year and hit .270/.345/.550 with 24 home runs, 68 RBI, 42 runs scored and a stolen base in his 307 regular season at-bats. He's entering postseason play riding a five-game hitting streak in which he's gone 6-for-12 (.500) with three home runs, 10 RBI and six runs scored for the Cardinals.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols played in his final regular season game at Busch Stadium on Sunday. The veteran slugger smacked his 702nd home run, which ties him with Babe Ruth for second on the all-time list. Possibly, Pujols adds to his total before the season is over with three games left remaining on the schedule. The 42-year-old drove in three runs before being pulled out alongside Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina in the fifth inning. The team wanted to celebrate their players even though it hurt their chances of winning the contest. Pujols will look to help the Cardinals win another ring before he rides off in the sunset.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols became only the fourth player in baseball history to reach the 700-home run mark in the 11-0 blowout win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. Pujols went 2-for-4 with two home runs, five RBI, two runs scored and a strikeout in the contest to make history on Friday night at Dodger Stadium. The 42-year-old future first-ballot Hall of Famer has cooled off a bit in the season's final month, but he's still excelling against left-handed pitchers and will remain a key part of the Cardinals' postseason run this year. He's hit .250 (15-for-60) with six home runs, 17 RBI and six runs scored in 20 games so far in the season's final month.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols launched his 697th career home run of his career on Sunday. The 42-year-old hit a go-ahead two-run home run off right-hander Chase De Jong in the ninth inning. The future Hall of Famer has now hit a home run in back-to-back contests. He continues to close in on 700 career home runs as the season whines down. Pujols isn't much of a fantasy factor, but hopefully he'll be able to achieve this milestone.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
