6 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols finished 1-for-3 with a run scored in Sunday's 7-2 victory against the Texas Rangers, collecting his 3,090th career hit. He moved past retired Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki for 22nd place on Major League Baseball's all-time hits list with 3,090. After a slow start in the four-game series in Oakland, Pujols has started to heat up at home, hitting safely in each of the four games against the Rangers, including his first homer of the season on Saturday.--Daniel Dobish
