Albert Pujols Hits 11th Home Run
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Albert Pujols went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Sunday's victory versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. The home run would be his sixth in a Dodger uniform. Pujols has still shown his ability to go yard late in his career and he is now hitting .228 with 11 home runs and 28 RBI. Despite the power numbers, Pujols isn't a regular in the Dodgers lineup and he is best served as a DFS player versus being roster in yearly leagues.

Albert Pujols Hits 702nd Career Home Run
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols played in his final regular season game at Busch Stadium on Sunday. The veteran slugger smacked his 702nd home run, which ties him with Babe Ruth for second on the all-time list. Possibly, Pujols adds to his total before the season is over with three games left remaining on the schedule. The 42-year-old drove in three runs before being pulled out alongside Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina in the fifth inning. The team wanted to celebrate their players even though it hurt their chances of winning the contest. Pujols will look to help the Cardinals win another ring before he rides off in the sunset.

The 42-year-old future first-ballot Hall of Famer has cooled off a bit in the season's final month, but he's still excelling against left-handed pitchers and will remain a key part of the Cardinals' postseason run this year. He's hit .250 (15-for-60) with six home runs, 17 RBI and six runs scored in 20 games so far in the season's final month.
