Alan Roden Struggling In First Look At Triple-A
4 months agoToronto Blue Jays outfield prospect Alan Roden has been struggling in the batter's box since moving up to Triple-A on June 16. In his first 16 games at the top level of the minor leagues the former third-round pick has posted a disappointing .167/.286/.278 line with two home runs, eight RBI, and an 8:10 BB:K ratio. However, earlier this season at Double-A New Hampshire, the Creighton product held a solid .267/.373/.432 line with seven long balls and 27 RBI. Roden should contend for a major league debut in the second half of the summer, but if this slump continues to linger, he might have to wait until 2025.
