Al Horford Scores 25 Points, Fills Stat Sheet Against Lakers
4 years agoOklahoma City Thunder center Al Horford scored a team-high 25 points in Wednesday night's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Horford shot 11-for-18 from the field and 2-for-2 from the line in the game. He also had eight rebounds, eight assists, four steals and a block and he hit one of his four three-point attempts. Horford has now scored at least 25 points in two of his past three games after failing to reach that threshold over his first 13 games of the year. He's averaging 14.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game this year. He'll look to follow-up this strong effort on Friday, when the Thunder face the Denver Nuggets, who have allowed opponents to shoot 47.4% from the field against them this year, one of the highest rates in the league.
