Akshay Bhatia has been enjoying an interesting pattern over the last four events. The American golfer has done the following: Top 10, missed cut, Top 10, missed cut. Bhatia could be up for a solid performance that keeps DFS owners and bettors alike happy. Bhatia scored a T-3 at The Players Championship. That is a course which often gets viewed as a fifth major. Bhatia normally putts well but has shined in 2025 ranking 8th in strokes gained at 0.689. If that was not enough, the golfer often puts himself in contention averaging a mere 27.38 strokes per second round. It may rain early in the week but tranquil, warm conditions could help Bhatia. If he makes his putts, Bhatia at +6500 may be too long to win but a Top 10 at +400 may be a reasonable wager. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Akshay Bhatia had been a bit up-and-down of late. However, the American golfer has had more down results in the Spring. That includes a couple of missed cuts and outside Top 40 results. Bhatia took last week off after missing the cut in New Orleans. He does have three Top 10 finishes in 2025 including a T-3 at The Players Championship. The Par-70 course in Philadelphia features some heavy hitters including Rory McIlroy (four-time winner). Bhatia is average at driving with good accuracy (40th) and 292.3 yard average drives (162nd). Bhatia will have to be consistent in all four rounds putting-wise to thrive in Philadelphia this week.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller

Akshay Bhatia has cooled down in his last few starts after a fantastic start to the 2025 season. Since THE PLAYERS, where he finished T-3, he hasn't finished better than T-42 and missed the cut at last week's RBC Heritage. His play around the green has been questionable, contributing to some of his poor finishes. He ranks 146th in strokes gained around the green (-0.249) and 136th in scrambling (57.97%). Bhatia's history, along with his partner Carson Young, at the Zurich Classic is not something they can hang their hats on, with two missed cuts in two starts for the pair. He and Young will try to flip the narrative at TPC Louisiana this week. --Jake Walker - RotoBaller

After a T3 finish at The PLAYERS Championship, Akshay Bhatia has now recorded six top-32 finishes this year, including three top-10s in his last four starts. He looks to carry this momentum into the Valero Texas Open, an event he won in 2024. In last year's tournament, Bhatia led the field in strokes gained on approach and tee-to-green play — areas where he has continued to excel this year. He currently ranks 43rd in strokes gained on approach (0.372 per round), 85th off the tee (0.076), and has been lights-out with his putter, ranking ninth on tour (0.646). He is also in the 96th percentile in greens in regulation from 200-plus yards, an area that accounted for 28.7% of all approach shots here last year. At a price tag of $9,300, Bhatia should be a lock in most fantasy lineups.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

Akshay Bhatia finished tied for third in last week's The PLAYERS Championship and is now focusing on preparing for this week's Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort. He has three top-10 finishes in his last four tournaments, with his only missed cut in 2025 coming at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. This will be Bhatia's fourth appearance at the Valspar Championship, where he finished T17 in 2024 and missed the cut in 2023. It's worth noting that during last year's Valspar Championship, 37% of approach shots came from distances of 150-200 yards. Over the past 12 months, Bhatia ranks in the 78th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from this distance in the fairway. Given his recent form, Bhatia could be a solid addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
