Akil Baddoo Homers, Drives In Three On Sunday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Akil Baddoo had a strong game at the plate in Sunday's 12-9 loss to the Minnesota Twins. Baddoo went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs and three RBI. The home run was his sixth of the year and his first since May 31. Despite being in the midst of a long home run drought, Baddoo has been performing extremely well at the plate over the last month and a half. He slashed .348/.434/.455 in June and he already has four multi-hit games in July. He's locked in to the leadoff spot for the Tigers and is very much worthy of a roster spot in deep leagues and AL-only leagues.
