5 years agoChicago Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (elbow) has been ruled out for Week 16 against the Chiefs on Sunday night. Hicks was activated from Injured Reserve before Week 15, and he played 36 of 59 snaps against the Packers. Hicks' absence is a notable loss for a strong Chicago defensive front, and his absence will certainly be an upgrade for Kansas City's running back, which will now feature Damien Williams (ribs), Spencer Ware, Darwin Thompson and LeSean McCoy. It's anyone's guess as to who will have the better game and see the most touches in this crowded backfield.
