AJ Pollock To Make Season Debut Friday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder AJ Pollock will get the start on Friday and bat seventh in the lineup against the Rockies. Pollock replaces Opening Day left fielder Chris Taylor in the lineup, as he looks to rebound from a rough Spring Training that saw him slash .146/.260/.244 in 18 games. Despite the shortened 2020 season, Pollock saw a surge in power last season as his 16 home runs surpassed his 2019 total, while his .566 SLG was a career-high. Pollock has a career .315/.364/.557 triple-slash line with 17 home runs against the Rockies, and a .316/.363/.561 line with nine home runs at Coors Field. Pollock could be a good bet to hit a home run tonight, and is worth tossing into your fantasy lineup.
