1 year agoSeattle Mariners outfielder AJ Pollock (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain on Saturday. The veteran outfielder sustained the injury during Friday's win over the Blue Jays and currently has no timetable for his return. It's been a brutal 2023 season for Pollock, who's slashing a meager .173/.225/.323 with five home runs and 15 RBI over 127 at-bats on the year. He likely would have been optioned earlier this season but Mariners lack outfield options in the minor league system. Outfielder Taylor Trammell, who owns a career .168/.269/.370 batting line across 303 major league at-bats, has been recalled from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
