AJ Dillon Leads Backfield With 15 Carries In Win Over Bears
3 years agoGreen Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon rushed 15 times for 71 yards and was not targeted in the passing game in Sunday's 45-30 win over the Chicago Bears. Dillon out carried teammate Aaron Jones 15-5 in the Week 14 win. The Boston College product might have received more carries, but Jones scored twice in Sunday's win. Dillon is in a timeshare with Jones but has been productive recently. He's rushed for 259 yards and two touchdowns while catching 13 passes for 127 yards and a score over his last four games. Dillon is a low-end RB2 against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15.

AJ Dillon Fully Cleared By Doctors
4 days agoGreen Bay Packers free-agent running back AJ Dillon (neck) has been fully cleared by multiple doctors and is ready to return to the field in 2025, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Dillon didn't play at all in 2024 due to a stinger, but he's still only 26 years old and has 2,428 career rushing yards and 18 total touchdowns in his four seasons with the Packers. He proved that he's not really a lead back when he got the opportunity in Green Bay, but Dillon should still attract plenty of interest on the open market as a big, physical runner if he's indeed past his neck injury. Because he'll likely be sharing plenty of backfield touches wherever he lands in free agency, his fantasy value will remain limited. In his last season in 2023, Dillon had a career-low 3.4 yards per carry on 178 rushing attempts for 613 yards and two rushing touchdowns in 15 games (six starts).

AJ Dillon Lands On Injured Reserve, Out For Season
7 months agoThe Green Bay Packers placed running back AJ Dillon (neck) on injured reserve Tuesday, and he will miss the entire 2024 season. This is a huge blow for the Packers and Dillon’s fantasy managers. The 26-year-old was expected to be Green Bay’s RB2 behind Josh Jacobs and have a significant role in the team's offense. Dillon had 613 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns over 15 games last season. MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) made the 53-man roster and is expected to back up Jacobs in 2024 with Dillon sidelined.

AJ Dillon Dealing With Stinger Suffered Late In 2023 Season
7 months agoGreen Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (stinger) is being held out of practice due to a stinger that Dillon suffered toward the end of last season. Per Matt LaFleur, Dillon being held out of practice is for precautionary reasons. With Dillon being held out and backfield mate MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) nursing an injury of his own, the Green Bay backfield has been hit hard with the injury bug. Dillon averaged just 3.4 yards per attempt in his worst season as a pro, with 613 rushing yards on 178 attempts. The role for Dillon is up in the air with Lloyd's injury and Josh Jacobs coming in to be the top running back for the Packers. It's a thin bet to expect Dillon to have a fantasy-friendly role in 2024 outside of injury, so keep him undrafted in fantasy drafts.

AJ Dillon Inefficient In Early Preseason Action
7 months agoGreen Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon recorded four carries for two yards in the Packers' preseason opener against the Browns. Dillon entered the game with the second offense on the Packers' second drive. He appears to be in position to be the Packers' No. 2 running back to start the season. However, Dillon continued the inefficient running he displayed in 2023. With rookie MarShawn Lloyd's (hamstring) status uncertain moving forward, Dillon may be able to hold the job for now.
