Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon took 12 carries for 32 yards and added two receptions on three targets for six yards during the team's 14-12 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The run game for Green Bay never got going, as the team tallied 67 total rushing yards on 25 carries. The 24-year-old did little with the opportunities he was given in the passing game, leading to a disappointing fantasy finish for Week 3. Dillon has out-carried fellow running back Aaron Jones 40 to 32 through the first three weeks of the season, but Jones has tallied 217 yards on the ground compared to Dillon's 138. The third-year back has the chance to bounce back for fantasy managers with three favorable matchups coming up over the next four weeks. However, the Packers will face the Patriots next week, who held the Ravens' running back corps to 92 total rushing yards Sunday. Dillon should be considered a low-end RB2 in that matchup.--Ryan Larrison - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers free-agent running back AJ Dillon (neck) has been fully cleared by multiple doctors and is ready to return to the field in 2025, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Dillon didn't play at all in 2024 due to a stinger, but he's still only 26 years old and has 2,428 career rushing yards and 18 total touchdowns in his four seasons with the Packers. He proved that he's not really a lead back when he got the opportunity in Green Bay, but Dillon should still attract plenty of interest on the open market as a big, physical runner if he's indeed past his neck injury. Because he'll likely be sharing plenty of backfield touches wherever he lands in free agency, his fantasy value will remain limited. In his last season in 2023, Dillon had a career-low 3.4 yards per carry on 178 rushing attempts for 613 yards and two rushing touchdowns in 15 games (six starts).--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller

The Green Bay Packers placed running back AJ Dillon (neck) on injured reserve Tuesday, and he will miss the entire 2024 season. This is a huge blow for the Packers and Dillon’s fantasy managers.  The 26-year-old was expected to be Green Bay’s RB2 behind Josh Jacobs and have a significant role in the team's offense. Dillon had 613 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns over 15 games last season. MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) made the 53-man roster and is expected to back up Jacobs in 2024 with Dillon sidelined.--Jake Kleiner - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon (stinger) is being held out of practice due to a stinger that Dillon suffered toward the end of last season. Per Matt LaFleur, Dillon being held out of practice is for precautionary reasons. With Dillon being held out and backfield mate MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) nursing an injury of his own, the Green Bay backfield has been hit hard with the injury bug. Dillon averaged just 3.4 yards per attempt in his worst season as a pro, with 613 rushing yards on 178 attempts. The role for Dillon is up in the air with Lloyd's injury and Josh Jacobs coming in to be the top running back for the Packers. It's a thin bet to expect Dillon to have a fantasy-friendly role in 2024 outside of injury, so keep him undrafted in fantasy drafts.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back AJ Dillon recorded four carries for two yards in the Packers' preseason opener against the Browns. Dillon entered the game with the second offense on the Packers' second drive. He appears to be in position to be the Packers' No. 2 running back to start the season. However, Dillon continued the inefficient running he displayed in 2023. With rookie MarShawn Lloyd's (hamstring) status uncertain moving forward, Dillon may be able to hold the job for now.--Quincy Milton III - RotoBaller
