Adrian Peterson Finds The End Zone In Titans Debut
3 years agoTennessee Titans running back Adrian Peterson rushed for 21 yards on 10 carries and a touchdown while catching his only target for five yards in Sunday's 28-16 win over the Los Angeles Rams. On Friday, the Titans signed the 36-year-old to the active roster in place of Derrick Henry (foot), who will miss the next 6-to-8 weeks after Henry underwent surgery on his foot. In Sunday's win, Peterson led the Titans in carries and split the backfield with D'Onta Foreman (5) and Jeremy McNichols (7). He didn't look sharp in his debut but salvaged his fantasy day with a rushing touchdown. The All-Pro running back is Tennessee's goal-line back and is a touchdown-dependent RB2/3 against the New Orleans Saints in Week 10.
