Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson carried the ball eight times for 29 yards and added 14 receiving yards in the Lions loss to the Vikings 34-20 in Week 9. Peterson provided little from the backfield and basically has been passed on the depth chart by rookie D'Andre Swift. Peterson's value exists in short-yardage situations in the red zone but otherwise is losing his fantasy luster fast. He is not a playable option heading into the team's Week 10 matchup against Washington.--Joey C - RotoBaller
