Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe (rest) will not be in the lineup on Thursday against the Calgary Flames. L.A.'s top scorer will be rested for the regular-season finale. Kempe has had a big year, with 35 goals and 73 points in 81 appearances, and he will also bring a lot of momentum into the postseason. The Swedish forward has posted six goals and 15 points over the past nine games. Phillip Danault and Trevor Moore are also expected to be rested for Thursday's contest, giving more fantasy value to players like Trevor Lewis and Alex Turcotte.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings right wing Adrian Kempe tallied three points during their victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Monday evening. Kempe tallied the primary assist on Quinton Byfield's power-play goal in the opening frame. In the second, Kempe would tally his second primary assist, this time on Kevin Fiala's power-play goal. In the third period, Kempe would find the back of the net himself to put the game out of reach. This victory clinched them the No. 2 seed in the Pacific Division, which will give them home ice in their first-round matchup against the Oilers. Over his previous eight contests, Kempe has found the back of the net five times and added eight helpers. He remains a strong play in DFS heading into the postseason, playing on the top forward unit.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe (personal) will play on Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks. Kempe missed a significant portion of Monday's loss to the Seattle Kraken to be with his wife, who gave birth to the couple's first child. He is expected to return to his usual spot on the first line alongside Andrei Kuzmenko and Anze Kopitar. The trio has developed good chemistry, and both Kempe and Kuzmenko were on a four-game point streak heading into Monday's matchup. Meanwhile, Kopitar has averaged a point per game over the last five contests. With 77 games played, Kempe leads the Kings in goals (33) and points (64) this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings center Adrian Kempe (personal) exited Monday's contest against the Seattle Kraken early due to a personal matter. Before departing the contest, he logged just over 13 minutes of ice time and did not get on the scoresheet. He logged four shots on goal and added three hits. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next contest against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday. If Kempe were to miss the next contest, Trevor Moore will likely move up to the top forward unit and play alongside Anze Kopitar and Andrei Kuzmenko. Before Monday's game, Kempe was riding a four-game point streak. Through 77 games this season, Kempe scored 33 goals and added 31 assists. He remains a solid option in all formats when he returns.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings right wing Adrian Kempe tallied two points during their 2-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday evening. Kempe tallied the primary assist on Alex Turcotte's fifth goal of the season in the first period. Then in overtime, Kempe would tally his second point with the game-winner on a wrist shot. This performance extended his point streak to six games. During this span, he has tallied eight points (four goals, four helpers), with two of those helpers coming on the power play. Given his role on the top line, fantasy managers should continue to expect Kempe to produce at a near point-per-game pace. He will look to extend this streak Saturday night against the Calgary Flames.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
