6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is unlikely to be traded ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline. The two possible suitors at this point seem to be the Braves and Red Sox. TR Sullivan of MLB.com reported that a trade to the Braves appears to be dead while the Red Sox do not seem motivated to get a deal done for Beltre. It was also reported that Beltre is willing to waive his no-trade clause for the right situation, but it is unlikely at this point. Beltre is slashing .292/.342/.404 this season with five home runs, 24 runs, and 33 RBI in 73 games.--Feldman Zach
