6 years agoTexas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre has been the subject of trade discussions with the Atlanta Braves. The Braves currently have Johan Camargo at third base, who has started 19 of the past 20 games. Given Beltre's injury issues this season, it is conceivable the Braves may view him as a platoon hitter. However, Beltre has a full no-trade protection and therefore he would have to be satisfied with the situation he was heading into. If Beltre is traded to the National League it is likely he loses some fantasy value, due to there being no designated hitter position for him to have rest days from the field in.--Ben Rolfe
