Adolis Garcia Reaches Once, Scores A Run
1 year agoTexas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia went 1-for-5 with a single and a run scored in a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. Garcia picked up a single in the first inning and scored on a fielder's choice in that same frame. It was one of Texas' three runs in the opening frame, which proved to be enough in the low-scoring affair. The 30-year-old slugger has reached base safely in 17-of-21 games in May and leads MLB with 49 RBI. He's slashing a solid .254/.320/.530 with 14 home runs, 49 RBI, and three stolen bases over 181 at-bats on the year. He's a big reason why the Rangers are currently in first place in the tough AL West.
