Adley Rutschman To Be Promoted For MLB Debut Saturday
3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles will be promoting catching prospect Adley Rutschman from Triple-A on Saturday. He is expected to make his MLB debut in Saturday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. This is the most highly-anticipated prospect call-up of the year as Rutschman is the top prospect in the majors. There's a decent chance he would have begun the season with the Orioles if it weren't for a right triceps strain he suffered during the spring. The 24-year-old has spent the last few weeks at Triple-A, slashing .233/.377/.442 with three home runs, seven RBI and five runs. He's a must-roster player in all fantasy leagues as he has a chance to be one of the most valuable catchers in all of fantasy going forward this year.
