4 months agoBaltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman is getting a day off on Sunday against the hosting division-rival Tampa Bay Rays. James McCann will do the catching for right-hander Albert Suarez and will bat ninth against Rays left-hander Jeffrey Springs. It appears to be a normal day of rest for Rutschman in a matinee affair to close out the series. The 26-year-old All-Star backstop should be back in the O's lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the visiting Washington Nationals after a scheduled day off for the team on Monday. Rutschman had a three-hit game on Saturday night and has been hot so far in the month of August, going 9-for-28 (.321) with three doubles, a triple, seven RBI and four runs scored in eight games played. McCann will be a low-upside DFS sleeper at the catcher position for Sunday's slate of games and should be avoided.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
