6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring) will start his rehab assignment Monday in Dunedin. Hechavarria is not much of a fantasy option right now, and shortstop prospect Willy Adames looms as a threat in the long term. In fact, rumors suggest Willy Adames may be called up fairly soon. Some speculate that the rehab assignment could serve as a showcase in an effort to allow teams to see he is healthy with the intent to trade him. Hechavarria is an elite defensive player but few fantasy leagues reward that enough to elevate him.--Jamie Mellor
