6 years agoTampa Bay Rays shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring) is not ready for any activity yet, which was reported Tuesday. He was placed on the 10-day disabled list Saturday a few days after he was injured. There were hopes that this would be a quick recovery or the DL stint was the team just being safe, but this report gives doubts to those hopes. Do not completely give up on a return, as none of that is definitive. In the meantime, the Rays will use Daniel Robertson, prospect Willy Adames and Christian Arroyo to cover most of the time in the middle infield. Hechavarria is not much of a fantasy option right now and Adames looms as a threat in the long term.--Jamie Mellor
