4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright pitched well in the Cardinals return to the field in Game 1 of Saturday's double header. Wainwright earned the win, pitching five innings while allowing just one run on two hits. He walked three and struck out three as well. Wainwright only threw 67 pitches, but given the long layoff since the last Cardinals game, the team quickly went to the bullpen. Wainwright should continue to be a solid end-of-rotation option in mixed leagues.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
