4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright tossed seven strong innings on Thursday, earning a quality start. He was denied a win as the Cardinals ended up winning the ball game in the bottom of the ninth. Wainwright allowed four runs, only two earned, on six hits and no walks while striking out four. He threw 97 pitches, 66 for strikes. It was a strong performance by the veteran, and he's shown he still has plenty left in the tank. He can be a solid back-of-the-rotation member of any fantasy team's roster.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
