3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Adam Wainwright earned the victory while going six innings during a 6-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday. The 40-year-old limited the damage, allowing seven hits, two walks, and two earned runs while striking out four during the quality start. The three-time All-Star has had a stellar season, posting 17 wins, 3.05 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 174 strikeouts across 206 1/3 innings pitched. While Wainwright plans to be back with the Cardinals for the 2022 season, he should be treated as a solid back-of-the-rotation option in redraft leagues as opposed to the workhorse version in 2021.--Patrick Doris
