Adam Trautman Listed As Broncos Starting Tight End
1 year agoDenver Broncos tight end Adam Trautman is listed as the team's starter ahead of Greg Dulcich on the team's initial unofficial depth chart. Head coach Sean Payton said it's written in pencil so it should be taken with a grain of salt, but it's still an interesting development. Trautman spent three seasons with the New Orleans Saints (two with Payton) before being traded to Denver this offseason. The Dayton product has caught 50 passes for 528 yards and four touchdowns so far in his career. Although Dulcich showed some flashes as a rookie, he's far from proven, and his place as a start isn't cemented. This will be a position battle worth monitoring.
