3 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Adam Trautman (ankle, foot) is believed to have avoided serious injury, per Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football. Trautman was carted off the field during Monday's preseason contest against the Jaguars with what appeared to be a serious injury, though the initial X-rays came back negative. Underhill reports that the 24-year-old will see a specialist this week to determine an exact timeline for his return. A popular sleeper pick at the tight end position this season, Trautman should be considered questionable for Week 1 at this point. Even a minor injury makes Trautman a bit too risky to select in drafts at the moment.--Tim Capurso
