Adam Thielen Disappoints With Only 44 Yards In Week 18
4 days agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver Adam Thielen was primed for a big game in Week 18 against the Atlanta Falcons and disappointed fantasy managers in this contest. Thielen finished the game with five catches on six targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 44-38 overtime win over the Falcons. The targets and receptions were second on the team, only behind Jalen Coker, who had seven targets and receptions. Quarterback Bryce Young hit nine different receivers in this one, which meant the receiving production was very distributed amongst the offense. On the season, Thielen had 571 yards on 43 receptions and five touchdowns in only nine games. At 34 years old, Thielen proved he can still produce at a high level when he is healthy. He will look to build off his 2024 campaign and enter the third year of his three-year contract with the Panthers in 2025.
