3 years agoAdam Scott did finish 16th at The Memorial last week but that 71-73 did little to inspire confidence for what will be a harder US Open course at Torrey Pines South. One cannot have negative strokes gained off the tee this week especially and at -0.103, that is just what Scott has. His putting was better last week and he ranks in the top-50 there but again the golfer is average (outside the top-100) around the green. Too many red flags come up in Scott's game to consider him a contender this week. The expectation is he will be around for the weekend, however.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
