Adam Scott Heads To Quail Hollow In Solid Form
7 months agoAdam Scott had a disappointing T30 finish at last week's CJ Cup Byron Nelson, despite his solid performances at the Masters Tournament and the Valero Texas Open. Scott is set to play in this week's Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow with only one missed cut in 2024 and five top-25 finishes, including a top-10 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in February. In 2023, he finished tied for fifth at the same event. However, Scott needs to improve his iron play to have a chance at competing this week. Over the past 12 months, he ranks in the 44th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway, which is essential to note because, at last year's event, over 44% of approach shots came from this distance. Although Scott has been in solid form, he may be hard to trust in DFS lineups this week.
