Adam Scott Continues To Putt Well
6 years agoAdam Scott steadily has been rising in the world rankings since having to scramble to qualify for the U.S. Open last year. Scott, who is now ranked 31st in the world, has looked like a different golfer over the past seven months and most of that has to do with his putting stroke. The anchoring ban that was put into place in 2016 has notoriously affected the Aussie on the greens. Ironically, though, the ability to leave the flagstick in on putts seems to have reinvigorated the 38-year-old. It has more to do with Scott being able to line himself up to the pin on his stroke than the actual skill of banking putts in off the flagstick, but regardless of the reason, he has now gained strokes putting in both events since the rule change. Scott will be a popular option at $9,200 on DraftKings, but he does have a lot going from him this week and should be highly considered.
