Adam Schenk Looks To Find Putter At La Quinta
10 months agoAdam Schenk's ability to get red-hot with both his irons and flat stick on any given week paid dividends for him last year, as he collected seven top-10s and three top-five finishes in 2023, including two runner-up finishes at the Valspar and Charles Schwab. The 31-year-old came out throwing darts at The Sentry two weeks ago, gaining 3.3 strokes on approach. But losing 4.1 strokes putting landed him in a tie for 29th by the end of the weekend. The formula for Schenk is simple: Tread water with the driver and around the green, then go nuclear with the irons and putter. When the Indiana native does that, he can rise to the top of most leaderboards. At just $7,600 on DraftKings, it's not crazy to roster Schenk this week, but a missed cut at the AmEx last year might make some fantasy managers wait another week or two to hop on board.
