Adam Schenk Breaks Slump Ahead Of American Express
23 hours agoAdam Schenk got off to a great start in 2025 at the Sony Open, finishing the tournament at 13-under par and securing a T6 finish. Before this impressive performance, Schenk had been in a rut. Over his last 15 starts on tour, he had made the cut in just five events, with his best finish being a T46 at the Shriners Children's Open. With what could turn into a putting contest this weekend at The American Express, Schenk doesn't model well in this area, ranking 136th on tour in three-putt avoidance and 95th in total strokes gained in putting since the beginning of 2024. He has also competed in this tournament seven times in his PGA career, missing the cut in four of those appearances. His best finish came in 2020 with a T14, during which he gained 4.57 strokes on the field in putting. Schenk certainly has momentum on his side, and at $6,900 on DraftKings, fantasy managers should carefully weigh the risk vs. reward when rounding out their lineups with him.
