Adam Plutko Eyeing MLB Return
1 year agoFormer Cleveland Guardians pitcher Adam Plutko is eyeing a return to the big leagues after spending the last two seasons with LG of the KBO. His stint overseas was a big success as the right-hander worked to a 2.39 ERA across 28 starts in the 2022 season before tossing a 2.41 ERA in 21 starts in the 2023 campaign. Now 32, Plutko has been unable to maintain success in the big leagues. He most recently worked to a 6.71 ERA across 38 appearances with the Orioles in the 2021 season and owns a 5.39 ERA across 88 MLB outings (37 starts), most of which came as a member of the Guardians. A successful return from the KBO to the big leagues isn't without precedence as the right-hander should be able to garner some interest following his work overseas.
