Adam Jones Clears Revocable Trade Waivers
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones has cleared revocable trade waivers, which now means he is eligible to be traded to any team. Jones has expressed his desire to stay with the Orioles, and he has 10-and-5 rights in his contract that give him the power to veto any deal he does not like. Regardless, the Philadelphia Phillies are apparently one of the most interested suitors for the 33-year-old. In terms of fantasy implications, Jones owners would love to see him go to a contender. Becoming an everyday player on a team that has actual talent would be a massive coup for Jones and his offensive output. He has been his typical consistent self this season with a .285 average, 49 RBI, and 13 home runs.
