Adam Humphries Has Big Upside This Week
6 years agoBuccaneers wide receiver Adam Humphries has emerged out of nowhere these past two months. Humphries has been a top-10 WR since Week 8. It's astonishing given the talent that was present in that Buccaneers receiving core but now it's to be expected with the absence of O.J. Howard and DeSean Jackson. Humphries has been a safety blanket and will continue to be. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are much more talented but Humphries is wide open in the middle of the field so he just sees the ball when the downfield coverage is tight. This matchup against New Orleans is extremely favorable given that Tampa Bay will probably be playing from behind and throwing plenty. Humphries is a must-start in PPR and a flex option in standard leagues.
