Adam Hadwin Restarts Cut Streak at the Travelers Championship
6 years agoAdam Hadwin shot a four-under par at the Travelers Championship, finishing in a share of 42nd place. The performance was a nice bounceback for the Canadian, who just one week previously had seen his 19 consecutive cuts-made streak broken at the U.S. Open. But outside of the positives of a new streak starting, the middle-of-the-pack finish has become all too common for Hadwin. During Hadwin's 19-tournament cut streak, he somehow managed to fall in the Official World Golf Rankings from 45th to 47th in the world, which goes to show how many mediocre finishes were included during that stretch. This week, Hadwin will try not only to extend his new cuts-made streak to two in a row but hopefully add a bit more boost to his finishing position. The 30-year-old appears to be an excellent fit for the course, so we wouldn't be betting against him providing a more quality finish this weekend.
