Adam Frazier Picks Up Three Hits In Pirates' Loss
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier had his third multi-hit performance of the spring on Saturday, finishing 3-for-4 with a double in the loss to the Yankees. Frazier has been making a lot of contact this month, as he is 8-for-12 with two doubles, one RBI, two runs, one walk and no strikeouts through four games. He is looking to bounce back from a career-worst performance in 2020, where he finished with a .230 average and a .661 OPS, while also recording the second-worst strikeout rate of his career at 15.2 percent. Managers in deeper leagues and NL-only formats should look at Frazier as a solid, late-round middle infield option, who can hit for a good average with potential for 10 to 12 home runs.
