Adam Frazier Leads Pirates In Win Friday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier carried the team to victory on Friday night, finishing 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, one RBI and two runs scored against the Giants. Frazier's triple in the bottom of the 11th drove in the game-tying run, and he would then score the winning run on a walk off sacrifice fly by Gregory Polanco. Over 37 games this season Frazier is slashing .315/.383/.456, but in May he has kicked things into second gear as he is slashing .346/.404/.538 through the first 13 games of the month. He's not going to provide many home runs or stolen bases, but if you're looking for help in average or OBP, Frazier is a solid middle infielder to target that should be available in nearly every league.
