Adam Frazier Delivers Knockout Blow Saturday
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates second baseman and outfielder Adam Frazier helped make sure history did not repeat itself from Friday on Saturday. Having blown a two-run lead in the 15th inning Friday, the Pirates found themselves again up two runs in the eighth inning Saturday. Frazier who had come into the game in the seventh inning stepped up with two men on base. Frazier would drive the ball into the stands to extend the lead on the way to a 9-1 victory. In the last two games, Frazier has three runs scored, five RBI and reached base six times. Frazier does not have big counting stats on the season but has played much better in August to give hope for the future.
