Adam Engel Suffers Hamstring Injury On Wednesday
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Adam Engel (hamstring) was removed from Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays due to right hamstring soreness. AJ Pollock came on in the fourth inning to replace Engel in the field. Engel struck out in his only at-bat of the game before being lifted. According to the team, Engel is in the midst of being further evaluated. The 30-year-old has seen a good amount of playing time this year due to the team's many injuries. Over 55 games, he's slashing .241/.299/.352 with one home run, nine stolen bases, 10 RBI and 18 runs.
