Adam Eaton Undergoes Arthroscopic Surgery
7 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton (ankle) underwent arthroscopic surgery on his ankle Thursday to relieve pain that was originally thought to be a bone bruise. The source of the pain was essentially a cartilage tear that had been undetected on previous MRIs. Because they could find no reason for the pain, his doctors elected to perform the surgery where they discovered a chondral flap problem. No timetable yet has been given on when Eaton can return but we can assume it is at least a month.
